模體用來檢測醫(yī)院的CT性能，由塑料制成，Catphan500, Catphan600, Catphan5700, CTP500, CTP600, CTP700等. 另外一個(gè)是醫(yī)院的磁共振性能檢測模體，完全使用有機(jī)玻璃制成，也有兩個(gè)型號，其中的圓柱形，就是Magphan® SMR170，廠家是美國模體實(shí)驗(yàn)室。

 

功能：Phantomlab與物理學(xué)家兼哲學(xué)家Goodenough, Ph.D.,共同努力發(fā)展了Catphan®模體。新型的Catphan®模體設(shè)計(jì)是基于醫(yī)療成像儀器方面二十多年的科學(xué)研究和臨床經(jīng)驗(yàn)。該種模體可以應(yīng)用于軸向和螺旋CT掃描成像系統(tǒng)的各種操作評價(jià)以及質(zhì)量保證系統(tǒng)。

 

不同的模塊組成了Catphan®模體，這些模塊尚可適用于連續(xù)20cm空間。為了在Catphan®424中使用水容器，所有Catphan®組件都是由Solid-cast材料構(gòu)成。Solid-cast結(jié)構(gòu)可以降低材料的吸水性和水浴模體相關(guān)的露水問題。

包括Catphan®500在內(nèi)共有三種基本Catphan®模體。Catphan®是為螺旋CT掃描而特殊設(shè)計(jì)的。
